Vincent Varrassi was our guest speaker last night at Chapel Hill-Chauncy High School, Wiltham, MA Barn Theater. Mr. Varrassi is the Head Learning Specialist at Fairleigh Dickinson University and the Campus Director at the University’s Regional Center for College Students with Learning Disabilities.

His topic, “Planning for College Success for Students with Learning Disabilities,” was timely and relevant to some of Chapel Hill-Chauncy High School's parents and students. He addressed the transition to college for those students who need support, the fate of the 504 plan and IEP in college, and the levels of support offered at various institutes of higher learning. A parent who attended stated, "He was very informative, insightful, and entertaining."

Mr. Varrassi has presented to school districts and Special Education Parent Associations at

b. Community High School, Teaneck NJ
c. Fair Haven-Rumson High School
d. Hillsborough Townships Public School
e. Montville Township Public Schools
f. Teaneck Public Schools and many others.

He has presented to faculty at colleges throughout New Jersey as well as at Conferences sponsored by NJ AHEAD, The NJ Association for College Admission Counseling, and for the New Jersey Commission on Higher Education on the topics of transition to college for students with Learning Disabilities, Asperger Syndrome and Non-Verbal Learning Disabilities.
